Dr. Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, has drawn ire for his ignorant comments on slavery. He said:
‘There were other immigrants who came in the bottom of slave ships, who worked even longer, even harder, for less’
Slaves were forcibly brought to American, called non-humans, treated as property and worse. To compare them with immigrants who of their own volition chose to travel to the United States does a terrible disservice to history. Within the context of Trump’s policy, his words make even less sense. He likened the slave experience to being able to partake in “the land of dreams and opportunity.”
Ben Carson’s passport photo. He really is an Alien. Whether or not he will be sent back from whence he came is unclear as far as Justice Department policy.
But what if, as he claims, he was born on a planet in another dimension, where he was, “Trained in the history of earth people via platonic congress with an interstellar presence. The presence told me about the African American experience via a celebratory dance that let me know that I was to be Republican. I have come to this planet to inflict harm on all people for me on profit, but especially on those who the presence called, ‘The victims of systemic racism and oppression.’ I do not care what these words mean. I am here on this planet to hang with the rich and pale. This has been a real dream come true for me, to come to your planet and help to oppress all of you, regardless of the color of your skin or the size of your organ growing chamber.”
When pressed about the “Interstellar Presence,” Carson clarified, “The presence said slavery was a positive institution, namely for the slave owners. That is why I agreed that Trump was ‘Your Leader’ when I asked directions on arrival.”
Offers have poured in to raise a scholarship fund for Carson to attend a Black Studies Program at the school of his choice.
