The estate of Italian citizen P. Geppetto, widely known as Pinocchio, has filed in international court against Trump. The filing claims that Trump’s, “Inept lying and acting as a puppet for a foreign state disparages and diminishes all real puppets.”
Mr. Geppetto, son of a puppeteer and craftsman, rose from nothing to become a real boy and then the Italian representative at the United Nations, where he so passionately spoke for truth and peace at the end of his life in the late 1940s.
“Pinocchio would have been horrified at the lying of a role model in a position of power,” said Jim R. Cricket, who runs the Estate. “As a puppet and liar, Trump must send royalties to the Estate and reveal who’s guiding his strings. That third hand is only possible with a skilled puppeteer.”
This clip from a Soviet version of Pinocchio was admitted as evidence of how strange the “real world” is.
